"Thanks, I love this sword. psh. Well. I dont know actually. Just kinda wandering around actually. But, I haven't been there in a while. Do you mind if I tag along?" Codie eyed the boy suspiciously, " Taradell, dangerous place. From what I remember, are you sure you wanna go there?" Thinking about what her brother told her, to be careful about who you meet on deserted roads. "How Do I know you're not gonna kill me in my sleep?" She asked the boy without thinking. Realizing her mistake she whistled loudly to summon her majestic steed. "William!"

Elaya shrugged. "Guess it may be a little dangerous. Never had problem with it though, I'm just visiting my uncle like usual." She lied easily. It had been her decision earlier not to let on that her family was dead and this mysterious uncle was unlikely to even know of her existence. It made her more of a target, so she'd compromised with the "routine trip to visit my uncle" story. Elaya had to stiffle a laugh at the girl's bluntness. She shrugged again, "I suppose you have no more way of knowing than I do. But I'm not generally in the practice of murdering people, if it's any comfort to you. I wouldn't mind the company."

Nodding she agreed, "Okay, sounds like fun. Let me just find my majestic steed.." As she spoke there was a wet nose on her shoulder. "Ah, William, this is...uh. new person. Be friends, don't attack, and try not to steal food." As she hopped into her saddle, Codie stared back at Elaya, who's story seemed lacking in some ways, instead of asking where he was really going, Codie ignored it and figured that not everyone is as welcoming as her. "I will follow you, so you lead the way." Codie said, heading in the wrong direction.

[OOC: Just remember as far as Codie knows, my character's name in Danno And do ya like mah art skillz? ;D] Elaya couldn't help but laugh at this girl's strange manner as Codie chatted away cheerfully. Remounting her own rather more diminutive steed, she tapped Codie's shoulder lightly. "I don't know about you, but I was going that way," she pointed out. "This is Tuon, by the way." Elaya added, gesturing toward the shaggy, sandy-golden coloured pony. [Yah, short I know... I don't really know where to go from here.]

"...So there I was, sitting--Whoah.. Are you sure this is the way to Taradell, cause this is different than the way I took last time.." Codie said, stopping abruptly. "I know this place.. Hey, Danno. Can we please get out of here, this place brings back bad memories." Codie looked around in the open land, as the wind blew leaves across the vast open space. Not many things would bring memories of her sister, this place did; it was because of her sudden death, in the middle of the summer, Codie's sister, Jenna would always be cold, and in pain. Neither of them could ever figure out why she was sick, when she saw the open vast land, Jenna asked if they could stay and watch the wind blow the trees back and forth for a day.--- Shaking herself out of a dreamy state, Codie looked around for Danno, "HEY, Danno. Where are youuu?"

Elaya looked back over her shoulder to see that her new companion had fallen behind. Turning Tuon, she trotted back toward Codie. "Hey. You coming or not?" she asked. Coming closer and riding up beside her, Elaya saw that the girl wore a strange expression, one of slightly pained memory. Perhaps I'm not the only one with a past I'd rather forget, she mused. She spoke again, this time more softly, "C'mon, let's keep moving." Elaya grasped William's reins, urging him forward slowly. "You want to talk?"

"Sorry Danno, thinking. I'm coming." Codie smiled as she said this, as painful as it was to remember where she last saw her sister, now wasn't the time to dwell on the past. "Talk? Talk about what? Oh.. About that.. Maybe some other time. Cause I still don't exactly know who you are. No offense. Of course." Codie said as she scrunched her nose, feeling bad. Her new companion was very kind, but reserved in some ways. The one time he actually opened up, she denied it. "So Danno, tell me about this uncle of yours, land, I'm guessing. Castle? Maybe?"

Elaya nodded in agreement. She certainly wouldn't go spilling her guts to a near-total stranger. The next question caught her a little off guard, and Elaya slapped herself mentally. Her thin cover story had been enough up until this point, but she wasn't prepared for any more in depth questions. She'd have to make them up as she went... "No, not a castle," she replied, "he's a merchant, his house is in the city. He travels a lot though," Elaya improvised as she went, "to buy goods and such, you know." It was likely enough, after all, that this mysterious uncle of hers was a merchant. Wasn't it? In truth, Elaya had no idea. She'd never really considered who or what her uncle was before- he was simply her only living family member. As she made her fictional version of him, she began to wonder more and more who he was, what he was like, and how on earth she would find him in the city...
[OOC: Yeah so just thought I'd tell you before we RP more, I picture Taradell as being something a little in between Minas Tirith in LotR, and Jeruselum in Kingdom of Heaven. Castles wouldn't be actually in the city.]

"That's interesting, a tradesman you say?" She felt uncomfortable talking about Danno's uncle, maybe because it brought back memories of her own family, before they abandoned her. "W here are you from anyway?"
